Welcome to PIPA. Our aim is to ensure that we work toward becoming the peak Property Industry Association. To that end, we will:
1. Develop industry codes and work with Government to introduce regulation which protects property investors;
2. Develop and promote accreditation and other education opportunities to ensure that property investors can deal with qualified advisers;
3. Regularly communicate issues to practitioners and consumers and seek feedback and suggestions;
4. Become a source of compliance and regulatory information;
5. Develop and oversee an industry code of conduct to which all members can commit;
6. Work continuously to ensure excellence, disclosure and integrity within the property investment industry.
Our members subscribe to a Code of Conduct which considers all consumers and commits to disclosure and a high standard of Best Practice. All of our members must work toward obtaining the Qualfied Investment Property Adviser (QPIA®) qualification which will ensure that consumers can confidently deal with them, knowing that they have a minimum level of expertise and are continuing with regular professional development.

So that we can continue to monitor the industry and make reports to the federal government in support of regulation, we need to know about anyone in the industry who may not be operating with integrity. If you know of anyone whose activities may be questionable, please email us.
Your email will be treated with strict confidence and your own identity preserved. Thank you for assisting us with this!

Property Investment Adviser Accreditation
Carefully consider your Investment in Investment Property Advising education!
If you are interested in becoming a Qualified Property Investment Adviser (QPIA®), beware of other associations and companies offering courses which may not provide a high enough level of qualification to satisfy the coming regulatory requirements.
Only a Diploma Level course can ensure the standard of accreditation needed to ensure you are providing quality advice. There are many courses which exist today offering only certificate level qualifications, and some of these include modules not relevent to the property investing industry.
Consumers should only deal with advisers who are able to display Diploma Level Property Investment Advising Qualifications.
